Commonly found in swampy forests, this toad species can be recognised by its uniform orange-brown distinctly warty skin, four low ridges on top of its head and dual-syllabic call.


Habitat
Occupies leaf litter of primary and secondary lowland forest. However it can be found in heavily modified habitats such as plantations.
