Crab-eating Frog

As its name suggests, this species is known to prey on crabs found swampland and mangroves. Its skin is grey or brown with irregular black markings, and short low ridges. This species is also found in fields and disturbed forests. It is the only known amphibian that can tolerate salt water for short periods.
Habitat occurs in a range of habitats including coastal scrub, marshes, disturbed forests and mangroves
