This rather slender bright green to brownish or yellowish-green frog gets its name from its copper-coloured tympanum (eardrum), and can be found in forest streams.
Habitat Occurs in shallow streams in lowland primary forest, adjacent secondary forest and freshwater swamp forest. Adults tend to perch low on streamside branches or fallen forest debris.
