So named for their large black eyes, this small frog has a grey to brown mottled pattern on its back. It's limbs are short and slender, and its call is a loud rapid rattle..


Habitat
Dwells amongst the leaf litter of primary and mature secondary rainforests. Breeds in shallow water streams.
