This slender species has a brown to yellow-brown back, often with four distinct lines from which it derives its common name. In some individuals, these stripes are absent. Common in disturbed habitats.
Habitat Inhabits disturbed forests, scrubland, parks and gardens. May be spotted a few feet from the ground clinging on to small stems, or in puddles on wet ground.
