Dragonflies and damselflies
Description:
The small side streams, slow-flowing waters and naturalised riverbanks at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park make it an ideal home for many dragonflies. The Common Bluetail is the first damselfly to colonise the Park's riverbanks; while the Yellow Tailed Ashy Shimmers is spotted perching in high areas to prey on mosquitoes, flies and other insects.
